Pilot plant "Micron" is one of the leaders in the production of high-quality metal powders for industrial 3D printing.

The technology and equipment of the plant ensure the production of ultra-pure spherical metal powders with high bulk density from stainless steels and austenitic nickel-chromium heat-resistant, titanium and aluminum alloys.

About our production 

The production is based on the technology of plasma spraying of metal in a continuously controlled environment of inert gases with special equipment.

The composition is divided into fractions required by the consumer by dry screening and packaged in a protective gas environment, which makes it possible to preserve the properties of the powders during the required storage period.

At the moment, the company has three plasma spray systems. In the near future, it is planned to increase this number to four.

Metal-powder compositions have high fluidity and bulk density and have earned high quality ratings from leading institutes in St. Petersburg, Samara, Ufa and Belgorod.

The main industries in which Micron’s powders are used:

• Aircraft industry;

• Cosmonautics;

• Nuclear power;

• Shipbuilding.

At the moment, the specialists of OZ "Micron" have worked out the technology for the production of the following metal powder:

• Stainless steel;

• Nickel base;

• Aluminum alloys;

• Titanium alloys.

The production of metal powders is constantly being improved.

Also, the specialists of OZ "Micron" are developing technologies for the production of metal-powder from new types of materials.
